I saw a post on April 1st talking about an Ultimate Blog Party. I checked it out decided it was something I had to do! But, I got distracted, then I had a weekend of fun with my husband and I totally forgot. Then I remembered when I saw Ambers post over at Lucky Lees To Be and I realized, quite suddenly that I forgot to do my party post!! So here it is!!

My name is Monica, and I'm 24 years old. I got married September 26th, 2009 to my very best friend, Rob. We've dated since 2005 five, and have now been married over a year and a half!! The time sure does just fly by! We have no children, but I do have 4 fur-babies! Two lab mixes, Duke and Dutchess and two cats, Slippers and Sparta. We took in a stray not too long ago who actually just gave birth today to 7 kittens in the closet!! It seems that strays, and other creatures often find a way into our lives, especially now that we are living in the country. This year is also the first year I am planting and tending a garden all by my lonesome (err, and with help from my husband!!). I'm extremely excited about being more self sufficient by growing my own veggies, and I'm also excited to try my hand at canning, freezing and drying for the first time. I have no doubt it'll be an adventure!! My blog is about my life. I blog about being an accidental housewife, animals, recipes, cooking/baking, gardening, and about my thoughts. I married my best friend, too! He was actually my first and last boyfriend, and we'd known each other since we were kids. I think it's awesome. :) I love reading about other young wives, especially since I'm pretty much new to married life (though it's been three sweet years!)
Anyway, I digress :)
My blog is all about the "finer things in a mom's life," nothing frivolous, mind you! I just appreciate and enjoy beauty and clarity, and your blog speaks them in volumes.
